My goals and intentions for this piece were to get hair texture and shading correctly.
I accomplished my goals by looking at the eye and the hair texture.
I was surprised at how easy it was to make the hair and the fingers.
The most difficult challenge was creating the proper head shape.
I meet that challenge by breaking down the proportions of each part.
I experienced the shift from right brain to left by looking at the shapes and not the overall picture.
This piece really works with the eyes, hair, and fingers.
Something I learned going into my next piece is how to make things look realistic.
If I had a do-over I would make the pinky and phone look more realistic.
I feel that the best things are the fingers and the hair.

I created this picture by using a picture from the pond and incorporating the scratch off idea from elementary school. I really enjoyed this technique.

- My goals and intentions for this piece were to create the indentations in the tree and use colors that you wouldn't normally use.
- I accomplished my goals by looking carefully at how the ridges in the tree were curved.
- I was surprised at how easy it was to. make the tree but at how hard it was to do it in different colors.
- The most difficult challenge was using the purples and seeing all of the greens in the leaves.
- I meet that challenge by breaking down each color of the leaves and by thinking like my role model artist for this painting.
- I experienced the shift from right brain to left by focusing on the colors and shapes of the leaves and grooves in the tree.
- This piece really works with the leaves and tree branches.
- An artist that inspired me was Wolf Kahn because of all of his bright colors and his prospective on landscapes.
- Something I learned going into my next painting is how to look at things through a new prospective.
- If I had a do-over I would add more grooves and detail to the tree.
- I feel that the best things are the branches and leaves.

- I was connected with this artist because of the beautiful landscapes and bright colors.
- I was moved by all of the shades and beauty that Wolf Kahn saw and recreated.

- My goals and intentions for this piece were to create shapes and object that I have never done before and create the color reflection in the objects.
- I accomplished my goals by looking carefully at the reflected colors and looking at the shape of each part of each object.
- I was surprised at how difficult it is to create the horse and all of the details on the horse.
- The most difficult challenge was to create the horse and see the shapes of the bubbles in the crystal ball.
- I meet that challenge by breaking dow each part of the objects and looking at the individual colors.
- I experienced the shift from right brain to left by focusing on the shapes and reflection of each object and its colors.
- This piece really works with the crystal ball and the horse.
- An artist that inspired me was Henry Stinson because of his simple strokes and colors that from a distance turn into objects.
- Something I learned going into my next painting is how to look at the reflections and paint things that are clear.
- If I had a do-over I would add more detail to the flower.
- I feel that the best things are the crystal ball and the horse.
