- My goals and intentions for this piece were to match the colors and create the color reflection in the objects.
- I accomplished my goals by looking carefully at the reflected colors and looking carefully at the colors of the shading.
- I was surprised at how many different shapes and shadows are reflected in the objects.
- The most difficult challenge was matching the shapes of the shading in the chicken.
- I meet that challenge by looking very carefully at where the lines met and how the lines were shaped.
- I experienced the shift from right brain to left by focusing on the shapes of each color instead of the overall picture.
- This piece really works with the shapes of all of the objects and the chicken.
- An artist that inspired me was Henry Stinson because of his vibrant colors and his loose sketching.
- Something I learned going into my next painting is how to look at the reflections in certain objects.
- If I had a do-over I would choose a different color instead of black for the background.
- I feel that the best things are the chicken and the reflections in the eggs.
