- My goals and intentions in this project were to master the side of my face and to learn how to shade properly.
- I accomplished them by learning how to draw my nose and lips and by learning how to blend.
- I was surprised by how much easier it was to draw my face on bigger paper than smaller paper.
- The most difficult challenge I had to face was to not draw lines for my lips with the charcoal.
- I met that challenge by "drawing" the lines with my eraser and shaping them.
- I experienced the shift to the right brain by looking at the shapes and shadows and not the overall picture.
- My drawing really works with my nose and the shape of it.
- Somethings I have learned to bring into my next drawing are how to shade and how to see the light shadows.
- Another artist in the class that I learned from was Ashley and I learned how to blend.
- If I had a do-over I would make the picture bigger to touch the edges of the paper.
- I feel the best things about my work are the nose and the eye.

you were very successful in capturing your likeness.
